The Triumph Of The Resurrection

Because of the resurrection of Jesus, christians who have faith in Him will have a new hope. Because born-again christians who have faith in Him will find hope in life.

Now let's look at the New Testament writings:

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."

"Where, O death, is your victory?

Where, O death, is your sting?"

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

he will swallow up death forever.
The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears
from all faces;
he will remove the disgrace of his people
from all the earth.
The LORD has spoken.
(Isaiah 25:8)

"I will ransom them from the power of the grave [a] ;
I will redeem them from death.
Where, O death, are your plagues?
Where, O grave, [b] is your destruction?

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. (Revelation 21:4)

Because He has risen, we can find hope and peace in Him. I would like to end this post with the chorus of the commonly sung hymn "Because He lives":
